About Old Town Automobile

We want to help you own your dream car – that cool car you always wanted but may have been just out of reach.  We sell hundreds of classic and muscle cars, as well as street rods and trucks every year.

After 25 years in the business, we know and love cars.   Where you buy your car makes a difference.  Sellers are not the same.  At Old Town Auto, we:

  • Sell high quality vehicles
  • Carefully go over each car before we buy or trade AND we go through a thorough inspection after it arrives.
  • Own all our inventory and showroom outright.  You’re not paying the overhead associated with various loans.
  • Don’t consign cars.   Many classic car sellers only consign cars, some they’ve never even seen in person.  What?
  • Don’t inflate prices.  Other sellers mark up the price of a vehicle by $6,000 or more so it seems they are giving you a good deal when they agree to take $5,000 off the price.  We price our vehicles at a reasonable margin above what we have invested in them. Sometimes we can do a little better on price.  Sometimes we can’t.

At Old Town Auto, classic cars are a family tradition. The owner’s dad, Curt, was car crazy too. He passed down his skills as soon as his boys were old enough to hold a wrench. Curt has passed on, but his love of these old beauties lives on through his family…and Old Town Auto.

We want you to be a satisfied customer and return again for your next vehicle.

 Our Showroom:

7,000 square feet of cool rides and great auto memorabilia.

And, we’re bursting at the seams. With so many great cars in stock, we don’t have showroom space for all of them, so we use several nearby storage facilities.

  • Saturday: 10am – 4pm
  • Monday – Friday: by appointment, call 301.855.9029 to schedule a time.
  • Sundays: Closed – (for “family day.”)

***If you’re coming out to see a specific car, be sure to call ahead to make sure it’s still available.

The experience buying our ‘65 Mustang at Old Town Automobile was exemplary. This is the second time we have dealt... with Courtney. He is top notch and puts his customers first. We drove seven hours from South Carolina to buy the Mustang. The car was better than depicted on the website. If you’re looking for a classic car, make the trip to Old Town Automobile, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Courtney!read more

When I phoned OldTownAutomobile about a 57 Chevrolet they had on the floor Courtney took the call and held the car... until I could make it to their showroom some 2+ hours away. Lance took over once I arrived and instantly I felt that I was being dealt with in an open and honest manner. The car was even better than I had expected. In fact their showroom was filled with really nice cars. They take pride in what they do and know the cars. Well I bought the 57 and I’m excited about being able to take it out soon. In summary I would recommend these guys to anyone. Great folks to deal with!read more

I had a great experience working with Courtney in buying a 70 Chevelle. You can tell he not only knows these old cars... inside and out but cares about them as well... and the customer! He puts a lot of time and effort into making sure you're getting a high quality classic car. Everything written on the website (for my car) so far has been absolutely true! And more importantly, he was available after the sale to answer questions and give me some additional information. If I'm ever in the market again, I would DEFINITELY buy another car from him and I highly recommend Old Town Automobile to anyone looking for a HIGH QUALITY classic muscle car.read more

Worked with Jeff and sold my 71 Camaro to Old Town Automobile. He was open, honest, and very professional. The entire... process was so much easier than I expected, and even when the picked it up in a covered trailer, they were nothing short of professional. Well done!read more

Courtney and Old Town Automobiles were amazing. My wife Katie and I were looking to sell our ‘66 Chevy Imapala... convertible her father left to us before he passed away this January. Courtney handled the situation with such understanding of the sentimental attachment my wife had to the last piece of her father. Jeff Berry, the buyer we worked with for the sale was a true gentleman as well as an honest businessman. He accommodate us with viewing, the transaction and pick up. Truly honorable, understanding, compassionate dealership. They answered any questions we had, and took their time with the sale. I would recommend Old Town Auto to anyone that asks, and would definitely work with them again when we are ready to own another classic. Thank you! Sincerely, Dan and Katie Flaniganread more

Probably the best customer service I've ever had. After I purchased my vehicle, they have continued to go above and... beyond to add a few components I purchased to be installed. They have literally done everything I have asked them to do, again, after I already purchased the vehicle. I am not convinced that they would refuse to walk on fire if I asked them to.read more

Worked with Courtney over the phone to come look at a ‘65 Mustang. He advised it was in his warehouse and due to my... timing of arriving (same day), he wasn’t sure it would be at the dealership in time. Well I got there and it was there and ready for a test drive. Loved the car, but toured the dealership and found a ‘69 Camaro that was calling my name. I ended up with the Camaro instead. The transaction was easy and Courtney was very professional. Since the car sat in the showroom for a bit, he wanted to look it over before I took it home. This was late in the day, so I left without the car. When looking it over, he found the A/C compressor wasn’t working like it should, so he replaced it. He then delivered the car to my home. I can’t say enough good things about Old Town Auto and Courtney. Just trust me, if you are looking for a historic vehicle, the inventory at Old Town is second to none and there is no beating working with Courtney. I don’t know when I can afford it, but I guarantee my next car will only come from them.read more

Super nervous about buying long distance so I went to Maryland to see Courtney. The 1966 Mustang GT was exactly as... described on his website. He was more than generous. When he heard (as I whined) that Pa. was going to take 3 weeks at least to get my tag to me which meant I could not drive the car, he got me a Maryland temporary tag. What a guy!!! . We had it delivered to us a couple days later. Not only was my car beautiful and exactly as described, the other cars in the show room are outstanding. If you go there the building is not marked Old Town Automobiles as he is within another dealer. Do not be afraid to buy long distance from this guy. If I had to do it again I would. Thanks Courtney!!! I am loving my GT!!!read more
