DISCLAIMER – Please read before you buy

This disclaimer may be updated or changed at any time without notice.

ACCURACY – We have listed the vehicles on this site to the best of our ability and knowledge. Because the vehicles are not brand new, and in some cases could be 50 years, 70 years or even older, we cannot know everything about their history, nor can we guarantee anything about them.

We are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies contained in information provided by third parties. The seller assumes no responsibility or liability for any typographical errors that may be found in our advertising.

NO WARRANTY – Old Town Automobile inspects each car thoroughly prior to sale. Yet, it is the responsibility of the buyer to either inspect the vehicle personally or via a 3rd party, to ensure satisfaction to the condition and value, prior to purchase.

All vehicles are sold AS IS is with no warranty expressed, written or implied.

The vehicles we sell are considered antiques. Please understand that they can break down or have any number of mechanical problems at anytime. When we sell a vehicle, we feel confident that the customer is getting a quality vehicle they will be able to drive without immediate problems. We do not dis-assemble each vehicle, however, and replace every part before sale, so we cannot know with 100% certainty the reliability of those parts or the vehicle as a whole.

Old Town Automobile assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.

BE PREPARED – It is also the buyer’s responsibility to ensure they are capable of handling the vehicle. Some vehicles have high performance engines or lack modern features such as power steering. In addition, some early models may not fit large persons. Please understand what you are buying before making your purchase.

PRICES AND DOWNPAYMENTS/DEPOSITS – We do not charge any additional “fees”. If you are a resident of the State of Maryland, the state requires us to collect state sales tax and fees at the time of sale. Residents from any other state are responsible for paying any taxes or fees owed to their state on their own.

Old Town Automobile will be happy to take a deposit while you make arrangements to pay for a vehicle in full. This “deposit” is a down payment on the car and represents a commitment that you are buying the car. We will not HOLD a car without a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit/downpayment. Even then, we do not “hold” cars for more than a week, unless prior arrangements have been made with the dealership owner.

All deposits/down payments are NON-REFUNDABLE.

If you put money down on a car and tell us you want to purchase the vehicle, our staff spends time on paperwork, taking down advertising, removing the car from our website, and turning away other potential buyers. If you change your mind because you didn’t clear it with your spouse first or another reason that has occurred to you after the deposit, we sympathize but cannot refund your money. We would be happy, however, to count the amount toward the purchase of another car from Old Town if you make the purchase within 6 months.

If you put a deposit/down payment on a car, it is with the understanding that you will pay the remaining balance as soon as possible and within one week of the deposit/ down payment being made.

In the event that you do not pay the remaining balance within a week and you do not contact us to work out an arrangement, Old Town Auto has the right to sell the car to another buyer without refund. Old Town Auto will attempt to contact you before selling the car.

STORAGE – If you pay for the car but do not take posession of the car or arrange shipping within one week, you will incur storage fees.

SHIPPING – Prices DO NOT include any shipping costs. Old Town Automobile is not affiliated with any shipping, insurance or finance company. As a courtesy to our clients, we will work with whatever company you select and we can provide a recommendation on a shipping provider.

We are not, however, responsible for any services provided by any shipping company.

Once a vehicle is paid for, we are not responsible for its safe delivery. 99% of all vehicles arrive at their destination safe and sound with very few problems. Accidents, however, do happen and that is beyond our control. We recommend using a licensed and insured shipper and making sure that you secure your own insurance on the vehicle before it is shipped.

Shipping costs will be paid directly to the shipping company.

PHOTOGRAPHY – Old Town Automobile generally takes all photos and videos of vehicles outside. Because of variations in the amount of light, as well as variations in display monitors, the colors you see on your screen may not be a totally accurate reproduction of the actual product. We always welcome buyers to come and see the car in person.

The experience buying our ‘65 Mustang at Old Town Automobile was exemplary. This is the second time we have dealt... with Courtney. He is top notch and puts his customers first. We drove seven hours from South Carolina to buy the Mustang. The car was better than depicted on the website. If you’re looking for a classic car, make the trip to Old Town Automobile, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Courtney!read more

When I phoned OldTownAutomobile about a 57 Chevrolet they had on the floor Courtney took the call and held the car... until I could make it to their showroom some 2+ hours away. Lance took over once I arrived and instantly I felt that I was being dealt with in an open and honest manner. The car was even better than I had expected. In fact their showroom was filled with really nice cars. They take pride in what they do and know the cars. Well I bought the 57 and I’m excited about being able to take it out soon. In summary I would recommend these guys to anyone. Great folks to deal with!read more

I had a great experience working with Courtney in buying a 70 Chevelle. You can tell he not only knows these old cars... inside and out but cares about them as well... and the customer! He puts a lot of time and effort into making sure you're getting a high quality classic car. Everything written on the website (for my car) so far has been absolutely true! And more importantly, he was available after the sale to answer questions and give me some additional information. If I'm ever in the market again, I would DEFINITELY buy another car from him and I highly recommend Old Town Automobile to anyone looking for a HIGH QUALITY classic muscle car.read more

Courtney and Old Town Automobiles were amazing. My wife Katie and I were looking to sell our ‘66 Chevy Imapala... convertible her father left to us before he passed away this January. Courtney handled the situation with such understanding of the sentimental attachment my wife had to the last piece of her father. Jeff Berry, the buyer we worked with for the sale was a true gentleman as well as an honest businessman. He accommodate us with viewing, the transaction and pick up. Truly honorable, understanding, compassionate dealership. They answered any questions we had, and took their time with the sale. I would recommend Old Town Auto to anyone that asks, and would definitely work with them again when we are ready to own another classic. Thank you! Sincerely, Dan and Katie Flaniganread more

Probably the best customer service I've ever had. After I purchased my vehicle, they have continued to go above and... beyond to add a few components I purchased to be installed. They have literally done everything I have asked them to do, again, after I already purchased the vehicle. I am not convinced that they would refuse to walk on fire if I asked them to.read more

Worked with Courtney over the phone to come look at a ‘65 Mustang. He advised it was in his warehouse and due to my... timing of arriving (same day), he wasn’t sure it would be at the dealership in time. Well I got there and it was there and ready for a test drive. Loved the car, but toured the dealership and found a ‘69 Camaro that was calling my name. I ended up with the Camaro instead. The transaction was easy and Courtney was very professional. Since the car sat in the showroom for a bit, he wanted to look it over before I took it home. This was late in the day, so I left without the car. When looking it over, he found the A/C compressor wasn’t working like it should, so he replaced it. He then delivered the car to my home. I can’t say enough good things about Old Town Auto and Courtney. Just trust me, if you are looking for a historic vehicle, the inventory at Old Town is second to none and there is no beating working with Courtney. I don’t know when I can afford it, but I guarantee my next car will only come from them.read more

Super nervous about buying long distance so I went to Maryland to see Courtney. The 1966 Mustang GT was exactly as... described on his website. He was more than generous. When he heard (as I whined) that Pa. was going to take 3 weeks at least to get my tag to me which meant I could not drive the car, he got me a Maryland temporary tag. What a guy!!! . We had it delivered to us a couple days later. Not only was my car beautiful and exactly as described, the other cars in the show room are outstanding. If you go there the building is not marked Old Town Automobiles as he is within another dealer. Do not be afraid to buy long distance from this guy. If I had to do it again I would. Thanks Courtney!!! I am loving my GT!!!read more
